He was later traded to the Raiders but never played in a regular-season game because he was released following several off-field incidents. Then New England signed him but released him a few weeks later after a second woman in 10 days accused him of sexual misconduct. Brown started his career with the Steelers, and was named to the All-Pro team four times and selected for seven Pro Bowls during his nine seasons in Pittsburgh. He was later traded to the Raiders, but never played in a regular-season game because he was released following several off-field incidents.

Could each clue be satisfied by 2 solutions? If for example your area was on hwy 24 in Colorado north of Leadville, It could satisfy Clara Brown, and Molly Brown. Everyone has probably noticed this in their solutions. This possible interpretation of the poem coincides with Forrest’s before mentioned responses. If we knew the home of Brown, IF it is the location of the treasure, then we could go right to the chest. So the home of Brown could just be what we need to ultimately figure out, but not until the final clue is given.

Yellowstone fall trout fishing trip is on my bucket list if I find it ill leave half of it that’s my word. In 1965 the valley became part of the Browns Park National Wildlife Refuge, designated as a habitat for migratory waterfowl. The refuge contains the remains of several historic sites, including "Two Bar Ranch" headquarters; Fort Davy Crockett; Lodore Hall ; and several old abandoned cabins and homesteader settlements. Although Fenn says he’s a little sad it’s over, he believes the treasure hunt and experiment were both a success. Fenn is a millionaire from Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Fenn has always said the person who finds the treasure can decide how much information about the location and their own identity will be made public. MYSTERY WIRE — Forrest Fenn, the man who said he hid a treasure chest with real treasure somewhere in the Rocky Mountains 10 years ago, is now revealing where he hid it, sort of. The real Margaret Brown was a powerful, no-nonsense woman who fought for the rights of her gender and those who couldn’t fight for themselves. She donated money, time, and effort into helping those in need and by the end of her life, had forever sealed her place in history as being the Titanic heroine and an all-around incredible woman. The following is what reportedly took place during Brown’s time on the ship.

Despite being a gorgeous, peaceful oasis, however, the home went years without a buyer for one simple reason – it was just too expensive. Finally, in 1928, Robert V. Fehlmann and his wife, Rose, took ownership of the property. Five generations later, the descendants of Robert and Rose Fehlmann continue to own and care for this beloved piece of Denver history. The property is often used as a venue to a variety of events, including business events and weddings, as well as group and individual tours that only cost $10 a person. The Molly Brown House Lakewood, also known as Avoca Lodge, is a historic building in Lakewood, Colorado, near Bear Creek.

The GOP also lost seats in both chambers of the legislature, where the party was already in the minority. However, we as searchers, love to analyze and form possible conclusions. And so after considering those two responses, I began to wonder if the home of Brown isn’t the actual location of the Treasure and what needs to be found. He also said that if we got the first ‘few’ clues….(and we know the definition of ‘few’ to be not many but more than one)….then a person could find the treasure. The following is a musing I’ve had about the home of Brown in Forrest’s treasure poem.

She is said to have taken her death very hard and spent the rest of her life mourning her lost love. Evidence of this fact is the axeman drawing in TTOTC. They were used to build the Byrd naturalist cabin. See the bird at home in the nest in the moon? Brown is capitalized to denote proper name- Byrd.

When people remember this day, they may not recall what made the invasion successful, and that was the greatest act of misdirection in the history of “magic tricks”. “You don’t have to dig up any old outhouses” .. Within that book is the following paragraph. Forrest has thought about the color brown quite a bit, and so might have used it in a way relating to how he wrote about in his Seventeen Dollars a Square Inch book. But maybe the idea shouldn’t be thrown completely away or isn’t as precise as that.

The trip gave us “boots on the ground” appreciation of the terrain and a little better understanding of Forrest Fenn’s experiences in that area. So it’s back to the drawing board for my next “solve”. After reading all the comments on this site, I have no idea where to start, but start I shall because hope springs eternal and puzzles must be solve. Thinking on that always gets me sidetracked, because since I can’t decide, I go back to the ‘put in’ and the fact Forrest could have put the treasure in a stream.

Many, myself included, have felt we need to ‘solve’ this home of Brown in order to move forward from ‘there’ within the poem. However, it is possible that the actual clue here is only telling us that we are ‘below the location of the treasure/or the home of Brown.’ It is the home of Brown we will ultimately discover. Eliot quote Forrest shared in Six Questions. He includes the part, “….and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started, and know it for the first time”, in his book, The Secrets of San Lazaro Pueblo.

He and his treasure are of the earth as in Mother Earth. There are probably dozens of spots in the rockies that fulfill the poems clues . Some lucky person walking in one of those spots will see the blaze someday and find the little box crammed in between some big boulders with some water trickling out of the rocks. I think 4 or 5 are too many, but I believe there are 2 “routes” – all leading to a single “point of peaceful meeting” somewhere before the Treasure .. The One Forest expects us to take – or the one Chasers are over-thinking and making more difficult than necessary .. The One Forrest actually took (the “easy” one that an 80 Year Old could take) ..

However, since 2014 brown trout have begun to successfully spawn and now make up over 10% of the fish population. Finn recently said in an interview that the chest is not buried, it’s not underwater, it’s not in or around the Rio Grande. I see everyone is obsessed with the term “put in” as if he said “I put it in.” Negative. He specifically said “”Put in”, and it’s a continuation of a line referring to water. To “put in” is the maritime term used by boaters when you pull up to shore, usually in a raft or long boat. The line follows the “not far, but too far to walk” portion about the “where cold waters halt.”, not are stopped, but halt.

Earlier this year it was stated that Mr. Fenn started by driving 8.75 miles from his shop and parked at a spot marked by the word “brown” before setting out on foot a mile. That is not to say I don’t think only understanding the ‘first few clues’ are important, I believe the entire poem is of course helpful with realizing the final solve…. The murals at Denver International Airport are linked to the chase. Maybe Crestone colorado, Heritage Square in golden colorado or the roundhouse near tarryall creek in Como, colorado or maybe the colorado railroad museum on 44th st in golden colorado. There is some masonic, esoteric, illuminati connection which has a focus on the holocene impact theory.

So, is there a line in the poem which could direct the seeker to know if the ‘treasure is buried or not.’ I think there is a possibility, and it involves the ‘home of Brown’. One of the reasons could be how most of us define ‘bury’. If this is the case, ‘hidden’ would be best stated because it covers all thoughts and doesn’t mislead at all. After the repeal of the Sherman Silver Purchase Act in 1893, the Large family sold the house. It was purchased by James Joseph Brown (J.J.), Margaret's husband, in 1894 for US$30,000 and the title was transferred to Margaret in 1898, possibly due to J.J.'s deteriorating health. We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Reinard Brown Janssen of Yuma, Colorado, born in Sac City, Iowa.
